What people ask most about the price: what the free tier covers, what exactly you are paying for, and how you get out again.
Getting started is free forever and includes calendar, lists, notes, polls and wishlists. After that you pay for how many areas you add: one from 2,99 € a month, all four 9,99 €. One subscription covers the whole group.
You choose them in the app, not in the store. If you booked two areas, you take any two and swap them whenever you like. That costs nothing extra and is a setting, not a purchase.
Going from three areas to all of them costs 2,00 € more a month. From three on, the top tier is almost always the cheaper choice, and you stop having to decide which area to leave out. If you would rather pay once a year, the yearly plan is 119,99 € / year.
For most people, yes. Shared calendar, tasks, shopping, household and travel usually sit in three or four separate apps, each with its own subscription, its own login and its own invite list. Monkly is one app, one price, one group.
Yes. One subscription unlocks the chosen areas for all members of your group. You do not need a subscription per person. The one exception is the Monkly Assistant: it belongs to the person who books it, because every request carries a running cost.
Anytime. There is no minimum term. If you cancel, the free tier with all basic features stays usable.
The servers are in Germany. Traffic runs over TLS, and particularly sensitive fields are additionally stored AES-256-GCM encrypted in the database.
