Monkly Assistant

Just say what is coming up while you plan, and the assistant writes along and turns it into events, tasks and shopping items. Plus recipes, meal plans and summaries of long notes on request.

Listening mode

What the assistant is really for. You talk through the week, it follows along and files what it understands, without asking after every sentence.

  • You talk, it follows

No dictation, no command voice. "Visit grandma on Saturday, grab flowers before" becomes an event and a shopping item.

  • You see what appears, the whole time

While it runs it takes the entire screen: frame, running clock, transcript, and below it every entry as it appears.

  • A review at the end

When you stop, everything stands there again one by one, with the sentence it came from. Deselect, delete, done. It does not close by itself.

  • It understands a change of mind

"Actually, we do not need the milk" takes the entry back. You do not have to leave the conversation for that.

What else it takes off your hands

Six more places where it types instead of you. All of them where you already are, none of them a chat window.

  • Understanding speech

One sentence, one entry. It picks whether that becomes a task, an event, a note or a shopping item.

  • Task from text

A paragraph you paste in becomes a task with a title, a due date and the rest as its description.

  • Suggest a recipe

Matched to what you cook otherwise, with the ingredient list going straight onto the shopping list.

  • Suggest a meal plan

Seven evenings, nothing twice, weighed against your preferences. You can change every single one.

  • Summarize a note

The three sentences a long note is actually about. The note itself stays untouched.

  • Sort into aisles

New items land in the right store aisle, so the shopping list is in the order you actually walk.

What happens to your words

  • No audio leaves the device

The listening is done by your phone. Only the recognized sentence goes to the provider as text, never the recording.

  • The provider sits in France

We run on Mistral, not on a US corporation. No training on your data.

  • Generated text stays labeled

Whatever the assistant wrote itself carries that on the entry, permanently and in the export too.

  • It does not rephrase you

When understanding you, your words stay. "Put milk on the list" becomes "milk", not something of its own.

Questions about the assistant

What is most often unclear before booking, including what you do not need it for at all.

  • No. Dictating into notes and text fields is done by your phone and is included everywhere, free tier included. Voice control for single commands also works without it, falling back to fixed patterns. What only works with it is listening mode: fixed patterns cannot break a running conversation into intentions.

  • No, and that is the difference to Premium. The assistant costs 5,99 € per person and month, because every request carries a running cost. If you do not switch it on, you do not pay for it.

  • No. Listening mode only runs while you have started it, and while it runs it takes the whole screen. It does not survive an app restart either. That would be exactly the microphone that runs without anyone starting it.

  • No. We run on Mistral in France, and the data is not used for training there.

  • Everything it created stays: they are ordinary events, tasks and notes. Only listening mode disappears from the menu.

Where your data sits and who can see it

These four points are here so you can check them, not because they sound reassuring.

  • Only your household sees it

Whatever you put into Monkly stays with you. It is not passed on and not sold, not even in parts.

  • Servers in Germany

The app and its database run in a data center in Germany. Whatever is particularly sensitive is additionally protected there.

  • You can leave whenever you want

You can take your data with you as a file and delete your account for good, yourself, inside the app. No email, no questions.

  • No corporation behind it

Monkly is paid for by subscriptions. No investor, no advertising, and usage figures run through our own server instead of a provider.
